GETTING QUOTES &
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We like to meet our clients face to face, as a rule, before providing a properly costed quote. This way we can view the site and discuss your individual requirements, according to the size of the event. We don't charge for a site visit, even if ultimately you choose not to use our services.

WHICH AREAS DO WE COVER?

Most of South Central England: Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, Sussex, Surrey, Wiltshire, Dorset and London. We have also undertaken events in Scotland and France.

WHAT TYPE OF MARQUEES CAN WE PROVIDE?

Marquees generally fall into two categories: Framed marquees and Poled marquees.  Unlike many of our competitors, we are able to provide both.

Our Poled Marquees are possibly the most up-to-date and certainly amongst the prettiest tents on the market. With their attractive and elegant "swoop tensioned" roof shape, these American-designed and manufactured tents have greater height than any Framed Marquee and are less expensive to hire. They also don't require large vehicles to transport them, making access to a site easier.

Our Poled Marquees are available in four different widths, with correspondingly varying roof heights. They accommodate anywhere from 70 to 700 people.

Our Framed Marquees are manufactured in the UK and are of a generic European design.  These marquees have no central poles, and can be erected on grass, tarmac, concrete and most flat surfaces.
With their lower ridge height, they more easily support lighting equipment etc from the roof frame. They can be 'weighted' onto the ground and involve no tensioning side straps or guy ropes. However, they are somewhat more expensive to hire than their 'poled' counterparts and being heavier structures, require larger vehicles for transport to and from events.

As with the Poled Marquees, we can provide Framed Marquees in four different sizes, again with respectively varying roof heights.

POWER SUPPLY

The only circumstance which can stop an event instantly is loss of electrical power. Power supplied either from a building or by generators (normally primary and back–up) is now governed by recent “17th Edition” legislation. The above power systems are installed and tested using a 17th Edition Qualified Electrical Engineer to ensure reliability and safety.
